Almost 50 years ago, when we introduced Airstream to Michigan and began to feature the Airstream travel trailer as our major product line, all Airstreams were referred to as Land Yachts. Each model had a name: the 30ft. was as a Sovereign, 29ft. Ambassador, 27ft. Overlander, 25ft. Trade Wind, 23ft. Safari and the 19ft. Bambi.

Over the 80 years of Airstream's existence, some of the names have changed but each unit is built to founder Wally Byam's credo, "Let's not make changes, let's make only improvements".

Today, Woodland Airstream is known as Airstream of Michigan and Indiana, and we are dealing with new names like Bambi, Caravel, Flying Cloud, International, Globetrotter & Classic but our objective remains the same: to meet and exceed our customer's expectations.

After you purchase a coach, we'll walk you through the entire thing inside and out, and make sure you understand all of its systems. We'll make sure you have the proper hitch equipment, we'll take you on a test drive, we will even show you every in and out to the iconic trailer.
